Yesterday Jan Jopson from St John and Amby the Ambulance came to visit us to teach us about some first aid. We learnt about what to do when you need the help of emergency services. You must dial 111 and say your name and address, what service you need (fire, ambulance, police) and also what has happened. We also learnt how to bandage someone who is bleeding and also what to do when someone gets burnt.
Thanks for coming to visit Jan and Amby, we learnt heaps and hopefully we do not have to use these skills anytime soon, but it certainly is great to know what to do if we need to use them!
