Rippa Rugby
The following information was sent home this week about the upcoming South-West Otago Rippa Rugby Tournament.

Thanks for your prompt replies in regards to providing transport and managing teams for the upcoming annual South-West Rippa Rugby Tournament on Wednesday May 28th (postponement date Friday May 28th) in Balclutha at the Showgrounds.

Please meet at school at 9am on Wednesday May 26th (postponement Thursday May 28th) to transport the children to the Showgrounds in Balclutha.  We will be back at school in time for buses.  You will be required to transport children to and from Balclutha.

All children are required to attend the Rippa tournament.  Children need to wear their Waiwera South Primary School sport’s top and dark shorts as this is our sports uniform.  NO bare feet and NO metal studs.  Touch and gym shoes are fine to play in. They also need to have warm clothes, a jacket and be prepared for four seasons in one day.  A packed lunch and drink bottle is required.  There may be a canteen but I have not had confirmation of this yet.  I will let the children know if there is one.

Children will be provided with a draw closer to the time of the event when I receive it.
