Sports Activator

Today we had a visit from Rory who came to take us all for some touch skills. We really enjoyed doing touch and learnt some great skills. Our first activity was to practice running and passing from a position we learnt is called dummy half. It was quite hard at first but we were soon speeding through this drill. Once we had mastered this, we were able to play a game. Some of the rules we had to remember included:
-Stay behind the person with the ball so there won't be a forward pass.
-After each touch the defenders have to go back at least 5 metres
-When rolling the ball between our legs we have to be facing straight on with our goal line.
-Remember to spread out so there is more space.

We had a lot of fun. Check out some photos of us practicing all our touch skills!
